Every year, KARA looks for volunteers to become directors or to assist on subcommittees which work to accomplish our goals over the course of the year. This year we are reaching out to the community to see if there are any residents who are interested in participating in any of the following areas. We who are lucky enough to live in such an incredible community must get involved to keep it beautiful and to continue to make it better. Our directors do their best to commit enough time to KARA to be able to make a difference. But, there are a lot of things going on in Kleinburg. We need your help!!! Tuesday May 16th, Kleinburg Public School
Please hold the date for KARA’s upcoming Annual General Meeting to be held at Kleinburg Public School on Tuesday May 16 at 7 p.m. KARA’s 2017 nominating committee is seeking volunteer Directors to serve on KARA’s Board. The committee is actively looking to boost our Board with interested and dedicated Kleinburg and Nashville residents who are able to volunteer for our resident group. Please send a letter of intent with a current resume to kara@kara-inc.ca or to PO Box 202 Kleinburg, by April 9 2017 - c/o Nominating Committee
The KARA Board generally meets on the third Thursday of each month in Kline House, 8 Nashville Road, at 7:00 p.m. If you would like to attend, or make a presentation, this can be arranged with the courtesy of a request in advance to KARA@kara-inc.ca. Local organizations are invited to submit material for publication in the Community Events and Community Clubs sections. Please include the name and phone number of a contact for follow up. Material will be edited to suit the newsletter and cannot be returned. Do you have community news? Let us know and, if space permits, we will include it. Next Issue: April 2017.
